Weather looked OK for a quick nip over to Arran on the last ferry for a planned walk for the missing Caisteal Abhail and include Cir Mhor & Beinn Tarsuinn. Parked overnight at Brodick Castle and caught the 1st bus round to the stop at North Glen Sannox. Headed up the good path with the clouds thickening. By the Witch's step it was drizzle and the rocks were slick. Alfie sort of slithered down the fairly tricky bypass. Wandered around a bit to find the top. As it was so yuck - decided to take the bypass round Cir Mhor. Alfie seemed happy to head down into Glen Rosa bringing back memories of previous walks. As we descended, the view behind us cleared. Alfie calculated we had ample time to head over Goatfell before the ferry and started back up. As the Witches step looked so enticing, I foolishly followed. Headed up a quick route to get to the top of Goatfell as the clouds knitted together again. No summit views but was nice walking down to Brodick with the views clearing. Managed to take the correct route to the castle, back to the van and ferry home. Beware of the Witches tease...
