Ferry over from Oban to Craignure evening before and parked up for the night. Booked into the campsite following morning and set off deciding to explore along the coast first to Dunart Bay. Fine walk with lovely views of the castle - with lots of scaffolding on. Then up the track past the radio masts and along a very fine ridge. Excellent views of the island. Carried on round to come down Maol nan Damh and found the track down through the forrest. Short walk along the road to the Pub at Craignure. A good reason to stay at the campsite - which has a great view down the Sound of Mull. On the the Fossil Tree the next day.
