Distance: 13.8km | Elevation: 1150m
Walk one of the day. Had parked overnight opposite the Alltchaorunn bridge to allow an early start to a long day. Out before 7am and wasn't quite sure in the dark of the route to the bridge so wandered a bit. Up the hill to visit An Grianan as Alfie wanted a photo opportunity. Sunrise was stunning across the Buachails. Continued up and was surprised by how far away the target seemed and how steep it looked! Beautiful walk across frozen landscape, boulders to the top but nothing taxing. Mostly retraced steps back but veered into steeper ground on decent. Quick lunch at the van, drove down the glen a bit for the days second walk.
